I really appreciate your detailed breakdown. I've wanted to recreate the "power fantasy" of Golden Eye's hip fire mechanic in a game for a long time. Aiming down sights and RDS views are fine, but sometimes you just want a run-n-gun action experience that gives the feeling of being a precision action hero. Great job.

Thank you for this guide. I have been learning Unreal and managed to get the bulk of the hip fire system working in blueprints. I still haven't turned it into a game or anything, and I might never, but I learned a lot. I'm gonna go wishlist your game right now! It looks awesome
